Launched in 2012, and bought out in 2018 by another online retailer, Down that Little Lane was an e-mall for quality bespoke housewares, art, fashion and personal items. With over 1000 sellers managing their own products, payments, sales, widgets and a host of other features, DTLL quickly became a community for makers all over Australia and NZ.
The back-end of DTLL was developed in Rails and front-end in ember.js. DTLL also featured Adaptive Payments via PayPal enabling all parties to receive payments in real time.
Formally macdaddy, now KORE, were development partners in DTLL with equity. Late 2016 KORE gained full ownership of the site and managed it through to its sale in 2018.
